Users can assign both data values and statistical values to answer choices within Decipher. This can be particularly useful for rating and similar questions, where you may want your response options to flow one way in the survey and another way in the report.
1: Assign the Data Values
Before launching a survey, open the question in the Survey Editor and click the desired answer option to select it. Then, enter the data value you'd like to use for that answer choice in the "Data Value" box:
You can use both positive and negative numbers for data values.
2: Assign the Statistical Values
After the survey has launched, click the settings icon to open the Crosstabs reporting tool and edit the "Stat Values" as desired:
