Because Workspaces are such an important part of the platform, we've made them very easy to create. There are two different ways to create a new Workspace.
Creating a Workspace BEFORE finding Content
From the 'My Work' area of the website, you will always be able to create a Workspace. This is useful when you know the type of content you are planning to add to a Workspace, but you have not found it yet. Simply give your Workspace a name and a brief description. Then add a cover photo so you can easily identify this Workspace.
Creating a Workspace AFTER Finding Content
Once you find an item that you would like to work on, you can easily create a new Workspace and add the item:
- While viewing the item, if you have the right permissions, you will see an option to "Add to Workspace".
- Enter a name for the new Workspace
- Click the 'Add' button
You have just created a new Workspace. You can visit the Workspace and get to work on the content, or you can continue looking for additional content to add to that Workspace. It's up to you!
